Resources & Info

Here are some more resources and information about our church.

  • Sunday Sermons

Missed the message or just want to hear what some of our Sunday teaching sounds like? Our hope is that God will move, change, renew and heal you through the story of the Bible. So every sermon focuses on Scripture and bringing out the power of that story to change lives.

  • How to Read The Bible

At Living Stones, we believe that Jesus read the Bible literarily. Ancient Jewish culture was extremely literary and Jesus as certainly part of that culture. Because of that, we want to read the Bible in the way Jesus read it, like an epic story written by God. But how do we do that? Here are some resources to get you started.

  • What is Wildcard Sunday?

About every month we have a “Wildcard Sunday”. Church is where the people are, not necessarily a particular worship service or building. In order to practice that belief, we have Wildcard Sundays where we don’t have a formal worship service, but we gather to eat together, share, and pray.

  • What are Home Groups?

Home Groups are the basecamp for the rest of our lives. Sunday mornings are just one hour out of 168 in a week. We learn to listen to each other’s stories and spend time praying and enjoying each other’s company. The hope is that the practices in our home groups will spill over into the other 167 hours of the week.

  • Spiritual Growth

At Living Stones, spiritual maturity is not just knowing a lot of theology and serving a lot in church, it also includes emotional maturity and living a life of joy and peace, the fruit of the spirit. We aren’t just brains. So how can we grow our hearts? How can we grow our beings?

  • Healing

Our church is about the healing gospel. Healing includes physical healing, but is not limited to physical healing. In fact, we want to emphasize mental and emotional health. The gospel, over time, will transform your life psychologically and emotionally as well as physically. Life should be full of love, joy and peace. That’s the healing that God wants to give us. Here are some resources that can help get us started.
